Job DescriptionPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education 1.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant program of study through an accredited medical assistant program that includes medical terminology coursework.
2.
Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program, preferred.
License/Certifications/Registration 3.
Medical Assistant Certification/Registration.
Acceptable credentials:
CMA, RMA, NCCT or CCMA.
New hires without CMA or RMA must become Registered or Certified within the first 90 days of employment.
4.
BLS Certification required.
5.
Licensed Practical Nurses - are preferred in some practices based on the nature of the work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
