Summary:
Hello all! We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server to join our team for this upcoming summer season.
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
Your main goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere while delivering prompt and efficient service.
Hiring will be taking place during April 2024, and working hours/training will begin in May, as most positions are seasonal.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner - Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage options - Take accurate food and drink orders from guests - Enter orders into the Toast POS system and ensure accuracy - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner - Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues - Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - Prepare bills, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to perform basic math calculations for bill totals, tips, and change - Familiarity with Toast POS systems for order entry and payment processing Join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.
