1st Shift - CNC Set-Up Operator

We have an immediate opening for a 1st shift CNC Lathe Setup/Operator who has an interest in learning about and working with automation machines including setting-up, operating and reading code.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Manufacturing experience CNC lathe experience At least one year of CNC Operation, preferred Use of standard equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.
) Ability to understand blue prints Learn and understand coding of machines Ability to complete first-piece and quality inspections as required for each part, and record information.
Basic Math skills Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables Ability to interpret verbal, written and diagram instructions, as well as able to follow written an oral instructions.
Is able to follow safety rules at all times and has awareness of moving parts and machines in the work area.
good hand/eye coordination.
Good work history & attendance Good communication skills Excellent hand-eye coordination Attention to detail Quick learner Positive attitude Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing setting Works near moving mechanical parts on a regular basis Moderate noise levels Fast-paced Standing for long periods of time Bending/stooping Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must possess good close and peripheral vision as well as depth perception Continuous use of hands and fingers to feed work pieces into CNC machines.
